Candidates must sign a ‘Conflict of Interest’ Form as part of the eligibility requirements for taking the training and exam, and the Form will be attached to their contractual obligations.

To achieve Access4you Auditor (Building AP) certification, professionals participate in accreditation training that covers the Access4you certification system, audit methodologies for evaluating accessibility across 8+1 stakeholder groups, documentation requirements for certification submissions, and the organisation's impartiality and conflict-of-interest framework. Training includes practical fieldwork with accessibility assessment tools, collaborative workshops analysing real-world building scenarios, and case studies of typical on-site audit situations. Certified Auditors must operate within an accredited Partner organisation—independent auditing is prohibited under the Access4you system. If a Conflict of Interest violation is reported or discovered, an independent legal advisor will review the case, which may result in the revocation of A4U Building AP status and a ban on any future A4U association.
